Tammy Samplawski RDH
Tammy Samplawski, a dedicated dental hygienist, was born in Venezuela and graduated as a dentist from Santa Maria University in Caracas in 2009. After practicing dentistry for 3 years, she relocated to Florida, where she pursued further education and graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores in 2015 with a dual Master’s of Science degree in Health Services Administration and Public Health.
In December 2015, Tammy became a licensed dental hygienist in Florida and has gone on to earn her certification to administer local anesthesia from Palm Beach State College. Her diverse background in both dentistry and public health enhances her holistic approach to patient care.
Tammy furthered her education with training in myofunctional therapy, and now is a dental hygienist that specializes in this field, focusing on training to address a variety of oral and facial muscle disorders. This therapy is essential for treating postural and functional issues that can disrupt normal dental development, impact airway health, and contribute to cosmetic and occlusal concerns.
Tammy is a proud member of the National Association of Oral Myology, further solidifying her commitment to advancing her knowledge and skills in this area. Her goal is to provide comprehensive care that not only addresses immediate dental needs but also promotes long-term health and wellness for her patients.
Outside of her professional life, Tammy enjoys exploring new health trends and engaging in community health initiatives, reflecting her dedication to improving oral health on a broader scale. Tammy lives in Coral Springs with her husband Rafal and young daughter Lorelai.
